Early Birth Association

The Early Birth Association is a registered charity and we are here to provide a wide variety of help and support for TMBU and SCBU in PRH, ranging from providing items for the babies and parents on the units to make their hospital stay more homely and comfortable, to funding vital life saving equipment and research.

The EBA is run by a group of volunteer parents and family members who have had premature or unwell babies. We’re able to offer help and support to parents who are facing the same worrying experiences that we once faced by regularly visiting the TMBU & PRH SCBU to run informal drop in coffee mornings, and by ensuring the units are stocked up with the items and equipment that they need. Please contact us, or ask on the units to find out when the next drop in coffee mornings are. We are there to meet parents and families on the units to provide an opportunity to discuss any problems or anxieties. We work closely with the nurses and staff to give support and practical help. And the great news is that you can jump for free, if you raise the minimum sponsorship required – just choose which option suits you and book today!
