Our aim is to help vulnerable 1st and 2nd generation Scots in London to establish a secure tenancy and lead a healthy, independent life.

 

We offer a range of services providing information, advice and advocacy, birth certificates for identification purposes, accommodation and referrals to specialist projects, an outreach worker service and a tenancy sustainment project.

 

Homeless Scots in London are vulnerable, isolated and far from home. Many Scots come to London and prosper. However, more than 12% of the UK homeless population in London is Scottish.

Borderline is the only organisation that specifically helps homeless Scots in London and we exist to improve the lives of vulnerable Scots on the streets, or those who are at risk of ending up on the streets of London.

 

Our aim is to remove or reduce homelessness by providing access to accommodation and specialist support services. We are committed to following objectives:

– to reduce homelessness and prevent rough sleeping

– to prevent homelessness wherever possible

– to access a wide range of accommodation options for our clients

– to ensure clients have access to appropriate specialist help
