ABOUT MENINGITIS NOW

Saving lives and rebuild futures by funding research, raising awareness and providing support.

The ultimate aim of Meningitis Now is that no-one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and families affected get the support they need. Over a 30-year history, they have invested over £12m in research, contributing to five vaccines which have saved many lives.

You can help continue their research and support services; £10 can help get over 300 signs and symptoms cards out to increase awareness or £50 could pay for an hour of counselling, providing emotional support for someone affected.

We are a UK-wide charity, with intensive support services for disabled children, young people, adults and senior citizens. Our personalised approach to care and high quality services aim to make the most of disabled people’s abilities and to lead a full life. Independent living, taking part in social activities, gaining confidence and learning new skills all feature highly along with top quality professional care. Meningitis Now is a new charity with almost 30 years’ experience. Formed in 2013 by bringing together Meningitis UK and Meningitis Trust, founders of the meningitis movement in the UK – we save lives and rebuild futures, through research, awareness and support.
