Wokingham, Bracknell & Districts Mencap

Wokingham, Bracknell and Districts Mencap are the 'voice of learning disability'. We are an independent local registered charity supporting over 1200 adults and children with learning disabilities and/or an autism spectrum condition (ASC), their parent carers and their families.

We provide a range of services including information, carer and family support, activities for children and adults with learning disabilities, siblings' support, activities for adults with autism, activities for carers as well as campaigning on local and national issues.

 

Tandem Parachute Jumps

Leaving the aircraft at 10,000ft you’ll reach speeds of 120mph (that’s as fast as a Golden Eagle diving for prey, by the way!) You’ll experience the rush and buzz of freefall strapped to a professional and experienced parachute instructor. Your instructor will release the canopy at about 5000ft and you can either help them steer the parachute home or leave them to do it for you, take in the scenery and ‘relax’!
